Collaborative Aspects of the PA Hydrography Dataset (PAHD) - Meeting Invitation

The Seventh Annual Water Data Workshop will once again be hosted jointly by PaMAGIC and the DCNR Bureau of Geological Survey. This year’s event will feature two virtual workshops:

  • Day One is the statewide plenary on Thursday, February 4th (9am – 11am) to describe PAHD Status and Plans.
  • Day Two is a series of three individual river basin workshops on Thursday, February 11th (one hour each from 9am – noon) focused on unique regional needs and opportunities.

9am - 9:15am      "Collaboration to Date"
Eric Jespersen, Researcher/Analyst; JMT Technology Group
      PaMAGIC Water Data Initiative Co-leader

9:15am - 9:45am "National Update/Lessons of EDH"
Steve Aichele, Geographer; USGS, National Geospatial Program

9:45am - 10:15am "PAHD Showcase - Data Development"

The meetings will each strive for open discussion related to timing of data development, talent and financial resources, ongoing projects and supporting data that exists in each basin. The goal will be to tighten plans and limit redundant activities as we work to complete the first iteration of PAHD by June 2024.

10am – 11am                  Susquehanna Basin
